Abdelmajid Al Natsheh launches the first tire store.
Abdelmajid Al Natsheh began his journey in the tire trade, establishing his first specialized store, laying the foundation for a family legacy that would continue for decades.
Caoutchouc City was founded in 1945 by Abdalmajed Al Natsheh in Hebron, where he began transforming recycled tires into practical products that gained wide popularity across the region. This laid the foundation for a business built on innovation, craftsmanship, and resilience.
In 1955, the company moved to Amman, launching the city’s first specialized rubber shop. With growing demand, it quickly became a trusted name among rural and urban communities alike later expanding into agricultural exports to the Gulf.
By 1975, Caoutchouc City entered the tire distribution sector, establishing itself as a key player in Jordan’s commercial and truck tire market. Through strategic partnerships with global brands like Michelin, Bridgestone, and Yokohama, the company solidified its leadership position.
After the founder’s passing in 1996, his sons carried the legacy forward. In 2021, the company expanded to Aqaba, launching a major logistics hub and advanced retail centers to support regional growth.
In 2014, the launch of the Caoutchouc City brand marked a new chapter one focused on offering a diverse selection of tire brands, categorized by quality, reputation, and value. This customer-first model positioned the company as a regional leader in tire distribution and service.
